Nha Trang markets - where to go shopping?

Nha Trang markets are one of the main attractions of the city located in the east of Vietnam. Here you can always find fresh products and just watch the life of the locals. Previously, only the Nhaecans themselves visited the markets, but the enterprising Vietnamese quickly darted and turned the bazaars into real attractions of the city.

The markets of Nha Trang are very attractive for buyers, because simple peasants, who grow products, most often act as sellers. Unlike Russian markets, prices here are much lower than in supermarkets, and the products are environmentally friendly (Vietnamese farmers simply do not have money for chemistry).

Cho Dam

Perhaps the Cho Dam market in Nha Trang is the most popular among city guests. It is he who is officially the largest and most often tourists come here who want to see the life of ordinary Vietnamese. The main advantage of this market is the variety of goods: here you can find almost everything, from fruits to clothing of local manufacturers.

However, there is a negative side: due to the fact that the place is very popular, prices in this market are slightly higher than in neighboring ones. Know that if the seller speaks Russian, his prices are several times higher than other sellers. But most importantly, remember: bargaining is always welcome!

As mentioned above, the Cho Dam market in Nha Trang is the most popular and crowded, and that is why this place attracts pickpockets. This is not to say that security matters are bad, because most Vietnamese are hardworking and not used to taking someone else's, but you should always be on your guard: do not leave things unattended and do not trust unknown people.

How to bargain in Nha Trang?

Vietnamese, like other Asians - are very gambling people, and love bidding. Therefore, absolutely all goods sold in the markets already have that value that you can throw off. Of course, there are different sellers, and some do not want to give the goods cheaper. If you meet with such a merchant, then feel free to leave, because the other one will certainly lower the price.

Also remember that during the bidding you must smile broadly and be persistent. The Vietnamese are emotional people, and if you notice that the seller is offended by the low price offered by you, just do not pay attention.

If the merchant does not want to give the thing for your price, then just put the goods on the counter and pretend that you are leaving. In 70% of cases, the seller will call you and agree to sell the product on your terms.Find out RATES or book any accommodation using this form
