Design project of a wooden house by the lake: photo inside and out

Recently, it has rarely been possible to see design projects of country houses decorated in a pure country style. As a rule, the modern style of the room only includes elements of country style. But there are also occasionally "classic" country houses in which literally all rooms are finished with natural materials. From the abundance of wood and stone in the decoration and as a material for the manufacture of furniture, decor items, you may feel dizzy. It is a pity that the photos are not able to convey the smell of wood, which is present in rooms decorated with natural material, no matter how much time passes.

For the construction of a sufficiently spacious mansion in two floors, an incredibly picturesque place was chosen. From the covered terrace of the house offers a wonderful view of the lake, and the local nature strikes with an abundance of greenery almost all year round. It is not surprising that the country-style house is faced with a tree that rests on a stone foundation.

The theme of the stone foundation was continued with the design of the porch. The house has several entrances and everywhere there is an identical finish adjacent to the doors of the space. The difficult landscape of the plot around the home ownership is striking in its neat appearance. This is a vivid example of how you can not try to subjugate nature to your ideas about beauty, but adjust to the existing landscape and its features - place steps on the slope, lay garden paths of large stone where the soil moisture is the least, and in the shade of perennial trees and shrubs to plant flowers that are afraid of the light.

On the territory of the site there is a gazebo, which looks more like a wooden hut from a real pine log house. Near it, it was decided to place a small patio - garden wooden and wicker furniture for a relaxing holiday and a hearth of stone in the center.

The design of both the exterior and interior of the mansion by the lake has a lot of rustic elements. Large practically untreated stone is used not only as a building material, but also as a decor. The facade of the building is brightened and contrasted with red painted wooden railings of terraces and a spacious veranda.

To harmonize the appearance of the building, carved shutters were also painted in bright red, saturated color. Against the background of wooden panels painted in bright colors, the shutters with a carved pattern look luxurious.

On the open terrace overlooking the lake, there is a relaxation area. It is not surprising that chairs and tables made of wood were used as outdoor furniture. Unpainted, varnished furniture pieces reflect the natural shade of wood, bringing natural warmth to the terrace atmosphere. Wall-mounted street lamps are placed around the perimeter of the entire building, so you can enjoy the sunset from the terraces without worrying about a safe return to your home.

Imagine a similar country house in the country style without a spacious living room with fireplace, it is simply impossible. The floor-to-ceiling room, fully finished with wood, exudes incredible warmth. The lighting system at different levels adds softness to the lighting and romantic atmosphere. In the living room, as in all households, there are many works of art on the walls, almost all of them are equipped with individual lighting.

The fireplace, lined with stone, with a lace forged lattice and all the necessary attributes reminiscent of rural life, has become the focus of attention, as befits a family hearth.

On the ground floor there is also a roomy kitchen combined with a dining room. It is not surprising that not only the system of kitchen cabinets, but also the entire decoration of the room is made of varnished wood, only small columns lined with stone dilute the primacy of wood in this kitchen and dining room. Despite the rural appearance of the kitchen, its working area is equipped with all modern appliances necessary for comfortable work in the kitchen.

On the lower level of the wooden house is also a small living room-workshop, designed for creative work. This is incredible, but the drum kit fits perfectly into the country interior with table lamps made of deer horns and skins of fur animals on the walls.

On the second floor there is a bedroom. And again we find ourselves in the kingdom of wood, even with rustic elements. The definition of "bedroom in a hunting lodge" is best suited to this room. After an active day spent in nature, falling asleep in such a bedroom is probably an incredible pleasure.

Near the bedroom there is a large bathroom, of course, with wood trim. The combination of warm wood shades with the dark green color of the countertops around the sinks gives the room a touch of luxury and nobility.

The original bathtub is located at the window (the benefit of the room's space allows you to place it anywhere), you can lie in the hot foam and enjoy the views of nature.
